Almost every year I do a Holiday Rant about people who say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas, well this year isn't going to be very different except that I maybe a little more Christian about it. If you know me at all you know that Allyson and I have excepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior whence the being more Christian.
Every year you start going to stores and people will wish you Happy Holidays because that is politically correct in the world today. Some stores make all their employees say it because they fear that some one will be offended. It's to bad if you believe in Christmas and work at such a store, you need to bend your beliefs to the minority. Now some of you may say that it's better that way no one gets offended and everyone is happy. If we are going to be 100 percent politically correct we need to start calling the things with Christmas in them this way; Holiday trees, Holiday wreath, Holiday presents, and so on down the line. We can't stop there though, if you celebrate Hanukkah we need to change everything in that celebration to Holiday as well. If your Muslim ( sorry not very educated on Muslim holidays ) we need to change all that too. Does that make sense?? It should if you believe we need to say Happy Holiday.
Now guess what we can't just stop there, all Holidays need to be politically correct, don't want to offend anyone about anything do we?? Of course not.
OK now for my Holiday rant, I celebrate Christmas, more so this year because it's the day we celebrate my Lord and Saviors birthday.
If you celebrate anything other then Christmas and wish me it, I in return will wish it right back at you. I will not freak out and say how dare you offend me by saying that, I will not call the NAACP and ask that a class action suit be filed on my behalf because someone shared their faith with me. I will smile at you, Love you, and enjoy your joy for your faith. Can you, will you, do you want to, do the same for me?
My God, my Savior, ask that I Love you all, so guess what that is exactly what I am going to do. I LOVE YOU ALL!!
